Our Alumni

Peaslee alumni go on to do incredible things in research, public service, law, tech, academia, and beyond. The skills honed in debate — critical thinking, clear communication, and quick analysis — stay with our members long after their final round, opening doors and shaping careers.

Many Peaslee debaters attend top law schools such as Yale, Stanford, Harvard, and the University of Chicago. Some become partners at major law firms, while others go on to teach at the nation's leading law schools.

But Peaslee alumni don't just pursue legal careers. Many earn MDs and PhDs from world-renowned institutions like Cambridge, CalTech, UChicago, and Columbia. Their fields of study are as diverse as economics, political science, philosophy, astrophysics, rhetoric, psychology, and Russian history. Others earn MBAs from top business schools like the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, work at influential think tanks like the Brookings Institution, or take on leadership roles at the United Nations.

Peaslee alumni have also served at the highest levels of public service. Among them are the U.S. Ambassador to Canada under the Biden-Harris administration, the U.S. Ambassador to Australia under President Eisenhower, and the current Attorney General of Colorado.

Peaslee has always prioritized staying connected with our alumni community. We host alumni weekend reunions and other events to bring former debaters together, celebrate their accomplishments, and strengthen lifelong bonds.
