Founded in 1871, the Amos J. Peaslee Debate Society is the oldest-running organization at Swarthmore College. Specializing in American Parliamentary (APDA) and British Parliamentary (BP) styles, we compete globally at various levels. We provide training, socials, and the campus-wide "Bathtub Debate," which we have run for nearly a century.
